New Territories and Other Islands
New Territories: located in the north of Kowloon. It is a new city, blend perfectly with Industrial factory and rural life and having so many places to discover such as landmarks, temples and historical attractions. It is an ideal place for person who wants to be more unique. Intersting places are Lung Yeuk Tau Heritage Trail, Fung Ying Seen Koon Temple, and Hong Kong Wetland Park.
Lantau Island: is the biggest island in Hong Kong famous for beautiful landscapes, high peaks, and beaches. The important places for this island are Chek Lap Kok Hong Kong International Airport, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, Ngong Ping 360, Tian Tan Buddha.
Outlying Islands: There are more than 260 outlying islands in Hong Kong, however mainly four such as Lantau Island, Cheung Chau Island, Lamma Island and Peng Chau Island have significant household areas that could be conveniently come to by ferry. Interesting activities are windsurfing, sunbathing etc. |
